Good news! Warner Brothers will celebrate the 60th Anniversary of CASABLANCA with a new DVD version of the film. Streeting on August 5th, this new two-disc special edition will feature a newly remastered transfer directly from original nitrate picture and sound elements and presented in the film's original 1.37:1 theatrical aspect ratio. Extras include a tremendous find: a full 10 minutes of recently discovered deleted scenes and outtakes, plus two audio commentary tracks with film critic Roger Ebert and the other with film historian Rudy Behlmer. Also, the disc will feature "The Children Remember," a featurette with heirs to the stars, and two documentaries: "You Must Remember This: The Making of Casablanca" and "Bacall on Bogart." Also, the disc will present the original "Screen Guild Players Radio Production" with the film's stars. Rounding out this magnificent set are scoring session outtakes, and trailers.
